Russia #2: Unprovoked

Dig
deep into your (soul?),
my dear friend

Do you have
an irrational
hatred or fear of
Russia, Russia, Russia?

Even a little bit?
If so, what is the substance?

Be honest,
Do you hate me for
Looking at your (soul?)?

Dig
down deep in your (soul?),
my animated tulips

Do you
have an
irrational hatred
or fear of
China, China, China?

Be honest, please
imperial subjects have a really hard time
with real eyes

I’ll be honest,
my dear friends:
I failed to write “Russia #1”

Utterly failed

No matter how hard
I tried, tried, tried,
I couldn’t hit the target

No matter how hard
I fought, fought, fought,
I just couldn’t feel it

For, if we touch our pinkish souls together
with transparent red hands
and see a war that will end this world …

When you wake from that vision,
do you really see a Russia unprovoked?

[Sneaked momentary flashes upon flashes in diagonals: “Since xxxx 2014 Ukraine has been at war with Ukrainian xxx Russians on the Russian border who xxxxx don’t want to live in a country xxxxx where the Russian language is illegal.”]

Russia #3:

Breathe deeply now, for
a rabbit stays close to poisoned inches of earth
while the local fox is always majestically lurking
Behemoths will soon blow out all their warrens,
extinguishing their big-eared species and sail away to Mars

The End

The pen and the sword are mightier weapons when correctly wielded together at the proper point in time and space
