poem

No Sleep Tonight Chicago

No sleep tonight, Chicago in Chicago
Get justice. Be the justice that lights up these nights

Together. Feel for it where it needs to be wrenched clean against the grain of the established power

Remember. Losers always become winners

Tonight. Another dead boy will rise in your finger muscles and squeeze and screw blue heads firmly on the tops of banner polls to make sure that never not one more 13 year-old is murdered on the streets with his hands up by the racist cops

Not more, Chicago!

Not more, Chicago!

Not more, Chicago!

Not one more!

The pen and the sword are mightier weapons when correctly wielded together at the proper point in time and space
